It all started in 2010 when Pedro Moreira organized the first wine fair in a shopping center near Alenquer.  I got it  bringing together 12 producers from Alenquer for the first time. Then, he realized the potential of the Lisbon region. Alenquer, a sub-region of Lisbon just 35km from the city of Lisbon, had a differentiated product of great value to offer in the field of wine tourism. He started by inviting small groups of friends over the weekend to do tastings at wine estates in the region, followed by wine lunches at his small wine restaurant in Vila Medieval de Alenquer. At the same time, he took advantage of his holidays to visit several wine regions in Europe, such as Bordeaux, Loire Valley, Burgundy, Rioja and Andalusia (Jerez). Here you acquire a level of knowledge in wine tourism that is essential to take the step forward.

In 2018 he founded LISBON VALLEY TOURS, starting to operate as a tourist entertainment company. Participates in several international tourism fairs, FITUR in Spain, and WTM São Paulo. It manages to attract its first clients, obtaining excellent recognition for its proposals, through professional offers in the areas of wine, gastronomy, and historical heritage. 

He quickly felt the need to expand his offer to other wine regions in Portugal, establishing partnerships in Alentejo, Algarve, Bairrada, Távora Varosa, Verdes, Douro, Beira Interior, Planalto Mirandês, Setúbal Peninsula, Azores and Madeira.

Today Lisbon Valley Tours has proposals that cover the entire national wine territory.
